Andersen 100 Series Gliding Patio Doors are the perfect choice for homeowners interested in a dependable gliding door with a contemporary feel. Andersen offers several color and hardware options allowing you to create a door that works well with your interior design.

This patio door is made with Andersen's own Fibrex® composite material, a sustainably manufactured, durable, and energy-efficient material. This gliding patio door has one panel that glides horizontally and one fixed panel. Gliding doors are a good choice in tight spaces because they don't swing out to take more space from your room or patio. Additionally, the 2-panel configuration allows more light to enter and brighten your space.

  • Fibrex material blocks thermal transfer nearly 700 times better than aluminum
  • Durable low-maintenance finish won't fade, flake, blister or peel
  • Dual-felt weatherstripping creates a positive seal between the frame and panel to protect against wind, water, and dust
  • Designed to meet or exceed performance requirements in all 50 states
  • Can withstand temperatures in excess of 160 degrees F, even in dark colors

Glass

Glass Options

  • Low-E SmartSun™ Tempered Glass

SmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun's heat by filtering out harmful UV rays.

    Ideal for: All Climates

Low-E SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is also available on 100 Series windows and doors. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.

  • Low-E Tempered Glass

Low-E Glass reflects heat in the summer and helps to retain interior heat in the winter.

    Ideal for: All Climates

Low-E with HeatLock Coating is also available on 100 Series windows and doors. This improves the U-Factor performance of the window but slightly reduces how much light comes through the glass.

  • Sun Tempered Glass

Sun glass has excellent thermal performance. This glass has a subtle tint that blocks out more heat from the sun.

    Ideal for: Southern Climates

  • Dual-Pane Tempered Glass

Clear dual-pane glass, which offers basic thermal performance, is in situations where codes allow its use. In North Texas, clear-dual pane glass does not meet energy code.

See local code official for requirements in your area.

  • HeatLock® Technology

HeatLock® coating reflects heat that likes to escape your home through window glass. It can be added to most of Andersen's glass options.

Decorative and Specialty Glass

  • Safety Glass
Tempered safety glass is available on all products, and comes standard on all patio doors.

    Sound-Reducing Glass
This glass helps reduce the volume of outside noise.  Available with Low-E, SmartSun and HeatLock coatings.

    Patterned Glass
Let in light while obscuring vision and adding a unique decorative touch to your home.

Andersen patterned glass is available in cascade, fern, obscure, or reed patterns.

Screens

Insect Screens

  • Insect screens are available with a gray fiberglass screen mesh and are color-matched to the door exterior. The latch mechanism is contained within the insect screen handle for easy operation. Gliding insect screens are available for two-panel doors.
