Once you’ve gotten lost in the fabulous lives of the rich and famous, browse the Design/Remodeling section for modern and creative design inspiration. Another neat feature – you can search for design professionals in your area.
House Beautiful
The editorial gurus behind House Beautiful create A LOT of content to browse, but their Home Makeovers and Renovate sections offer up some really beautiful (hence the name) design ideas. And for the DIY-ers, they have an entire section dedicated to large and small projects you can tackle yourself. Get after it!
Freshome
The best part of Freshome’s site is the way they have each topic organized. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, quickly finding articles on a specific project is easy to find. It’s also great for the dreamers who aren’t sure where to start, but want a change.
While the site is more focused around interior decorating and design, they do have a section devoted to architecture, which will get the brain stirring with fun examples from homes around the world. (Like this incredible ranch-style home in sunny Palm Springs that we can’t get over.)
