SoundMaster

Jeld-Wen Standard SoundMaster glass is noise-reducing, creating much quieter living spaces. Testing shows that SoundMaster glass improves the sound efficiency of a double-paned window by 20 percent.

Tempered

The tempered glass option is available in all glass types and provides extra strength, enabling it to withstand force or pressure on its surface and it will not break into sharp pieces. Local building codes often require tempered glass to be used in all windows that are close to the floor or near doors, bathtubs or showers.

BetterVue™

BetterVue™ screens are standard on Jeld-Wen windows and are designed to keep insects out and let natural light in. BetterVue™ insect screens are engineered with fine, black fiberglass mesh with a subtle gloss finish. Screen frames are available to match the window frame you choose.

Block Frame

For New Construction and Replacement. A block frame are for windows with a frame that does not include a nail fin. This frame option allows for installation to be done quickly and neatly without disturbing exterior siding, stucco, interior trim, paint or wallpaper. Ideal for new construction installation into concrete or masonry walls. This frame has the same inside and outside dimensions.

Brickmould

Flush Fin

For Replacement or Retrofit. The flush fin option allows Jeld-Wen windows to be installed from the exterior of your home while the fin covers the old window frame. This eliminates the need to cut back stucco or siding, refinish interior trim or replace blinds and window coverings. This provides a clean, energy efficient result.

Integral Flat Casing

For New Construction. Includes integral exterior casing, so there's no need to apply exterior trim around the windows and patio doors, reducing installation costs. The J-channel creates a clean look and the casing is 3-1/2" wide for an American Colonial appearance.

Integral Nailing Fin

For New Construction and Replacement. Jeld-Wen windows come standard with a 1-1/4" pre-punched nailing fin for easy installation during new construction projects. The nailing fin is integral and surrounds the full perimeter of the frame. These features ensure weathertight installations. This option is best for homes with siding, stucco or brick exteriors.

Retrofit Brickmould Accessory

The Brickmould Accessory is best for window replacement projects. Easy to install and easily matched to existing windows, Jeld-Wen's Brickmould Accessory performs as window trim, obscuring the rough opening and raw edges around the window.
