The Andersen premium exterior color palette features high-performance, baked-on silicone polyester enamel finishes that meet the rigorous AAMA 2605 standards. Their limited warranty includes 10-year protection against fading and chalking, plus 20-year coverage for cracking, peeling, flaking, blistering, checking, or loss of adhesion. They also offer custom exterior colors for added design flexibility.

Exterior keyed lock
A five-pin exterior key lock is available for all MultiGlide doors. This lock allows the door to be locked and unlocked from the exterior.
Locking System
The MultiGlide door has an adjustable two-point locking system providing intuitive adjustment. Equipped with laminated stainless steel hooks and an anti-slam device to prevent damage to the side jamb.
Edge Pull
Premium spring return edge pull is optional on stacking configurations and standard on pocketing configurations to move lead panel out of the pocket. Finish is satin nickel.
Roller Wheels
Continuously adjustable synthetic roller wheels with stainless steel ball-bearings provide smooth, quiet operation. Cycle tested 25,000 times for proven operation, the 1 5⁄8" (41) contoured rollers perfectly match the track to reduce lateral vibrations and increase ease of operation. Rollers are capable of handling over 4X the weight of the largest panel.
Contemporary aluminum-clad wood
Contemporary aluminum-clad wood panels feature 2 ¾” lock jamb stiles and rails with reinforcements at the interlocks..
Traditional aluminum-clad wood
Traditional panels feature 4 11/16” stiles with a choice of 4 11/16”, 8” or 12” bottom rail heights.

Big door retractable screen
Built to keep insects and outdoor elements at bay, this screen lets you enjoy fresh air without sacrificing your view. It’s fully captured within the frame on all sides and retracts cleanly out of sight when not in use, minimizing visual clutter and maximizing connection to the outdoors. Suitable for openings up to approximately 30' wide and 10' tall.
Aluminum frame gliding insect screen
Screen panels come standard with smooth-gliding synthetic rollers and sleek flush hardware, designed with 2 ¾" consistent sight lines to preserve your view. Durable charcoal fiberglass mesh is included, and frames are offered in all exterior colors and finishes. Both single-panel and multi-panel screen configurations are available.
Sill Options
You can choose between two sill styles: an on-floor drainage sill or a flush sill. Both are built from heavy-duty extruded 6005-T5 aluminum for exceptional strength and stability.
The on-floor drainage sill features integrated drainage channels—spaced every 17" to 24" depending on the unit width—to help direct and manage water. It’s offered in clear or dark bronze anodized finishes.
Flush Sill
The flush sill is engineered to extend just 3⁄16" above the finished floor, offering a smooth, nearly level transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. It is available in a clear anodized finish.
Note: The material shown between the rails is intended to represent flooring installed between the sill rails. For complete details, refer to the installation guides.
On-floor drainage: raised threshold
An optional raised threshold for on-floor drainage sill enhances performance to a PG30 rating for sizes up to 8' tall.**
On-floor drainage: exterior ramp
Exterior ramp option for on-floor drainage sill provides easy accessibility. Designed to meet 3⁄4" door threshold requirements for sliding doors, as referenced in ANSI A117.1.*

Interior ramp option for on-floor drainage sill provides easy accessibility. Designed to meet 3⁄4" door threshold requirements for sliding doors, as referenced in ANSI A117.1.* Cannot be used with optional raised threshold.
Automated Open/Close System
With the touch of a button, the MultiGlide door can now be opened or closed, creating wide open spaces in the most convenient way.
- Optional automation feature is available on one-directional and two-directional stacking and pocketing door configurations*
- Operate using an interior touchpad and weatherproof exterior secure keypad
- Includes safety features such as overhead motion sensors (interior & exterior) and obstruction detection
- Battery backup included to keep the system secure

*Automation is not available for doors with panels that are less than 36” in width and insect screens are not automated with this feature.
MultiGlide Pass-Through
A pass-through, or servery window, is a great way to simplify entertaining and create seamless connection between your kitchen and outdoor spaces. Designed as a compact version of the MultiGlide Door, it provides a wide, unobstructed opening that fits beautifully above a sink or countertop.
