Give your window an authentic look with grilles that are permanently applied to the interior and exterior of your window with an aluminum spacer between the glass.
Spacer Option for Greater Energy Efficiency
The Energy Spacer option is available to help A-Series products with full divided lights and SmartSun™ glass be ENERGY STAR® certified in the Northern climate zone. Its narrow design creates a 3mm gap around the spacer, helping to lower U-Factor values.
Simulated divided light offers permanent grilles on the exterior and and a choice of permanent or removable wood interior grilles, with no spacer between the glass.
Removable interior wood grilles are secured via a fastener or grille clip and can be removed enabling you to easily clean the glass surface.
Finelight™ grilles are suspended between the panes of glass, allowing you to easily clean both the inside and outside of your windows and doors.
SmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun's heat by filtering out harmful UV rays.
Ideal for: All Climates
SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is available on A-Series products. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.
Low-E Glass reflects heat in the summer and helps to retain interior heat in the winter.
Ideal for: All Climates
Low-E4® with HeatLock Coating is available on A-Series products. This improves the U-Factor performance of the window but slightly reduces how much light comes through the glass.
Sun glass has excellent thermal performance. This glass has a subtle tint that blocks out more heat from the sun.
Ideal for: Southern Climates

Ideal for: Northern Climates

Art Glass
Andersen® art glass is available in a wide variety of patterns adding uncommon elegance to any home style.
The four styles included in our Classic Series panels represent major architectural design themes from the late 1800's through the 1930's. Their symmetric patterns are available in distinctive color schemes as well as colorless glass, and their caming may be finished with a gold tone, silver tone or antique patina.
Two designs influenced by 20th century American and European architectural schools feature striking visual patterns that evoke an extraordinary blend of art and nature.
Patented square corner joints add considerable strength to the frame members. The insect screen is available in a conventional gliding or a premium top-hung gliding design. The conventional insect screen has bottom rollers with self-contained leveling adjusters. The premium top-hung insect screen has silicone-embedded glide hooks that hang from the top of the screen track, allowing it to glide smoothly and effortlessly. Alignment rollers on the bottom of the insect screen keep it in place on the track while the perimeter bug seal helps ensure insects stay on the outside.
The retractable insect screen is installed on the interior of the door across the width of the opening. When the insect screen is not in use, it neatly retracts into small canisters on each side of the door. Retractable insect screens are available for single-panel and two-panel doors with White, Gold Dust, pine, oak and maple finishes and six stains to match the interior of your door.
Available for single-panel hinged doors and two-panel jamb-hinged doors.
Exterior trim adds a finishing touch to your windows or doors and is often essential in achieving authentic architectural style. You can match the color of your windows or doors, or complement them with a different color.
An oak or maple threshold is available for finishing the interior of the sill.
Allows for easy installation in replacement applications with a finished interior floor. This clip fastens to the subfloor and the sill snaps into the clip, providing a secured structural installation.
Andersen Frenchwood patio door sidelights and transoms feature elegant lines that match our A-Series patio doors.
