E-Series Hinged Patio Doors
Hinged patio doors allow you to create a dramatic statement and provide a wide entrance that's convenient when entertaining. Choose from contemporary or traditional stylings plus endless color, stain, and hardware options.
Low-Maintenance
Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusions on the exterior.
Sills have built-in drainage channel that allows water to drain away from the interior of the door. A polyurethane thermal barrier helps reduce heat loss.

Premium grade aluminum inswing sill with an oak threshold. Sills have a built-in drainage channel that allows water to drain away from the interior of the door. A top plate is removable for easy channel cleaning. A polyurethane thermal barrier helps reduce heat loss. Available in mill or dark bronze anodized finish.
Enhanced Security
Autolatch® stainless steel multi-point locking system locks the panel in three positions to provide a secure, weather-resistant entry system. Some door heights lock the panel in four positions.

SmartSun™ Tempered Glass
SmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun's heat by filtering out harmful UV rays.
Ideal for: All Climates
SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is available on E-Series products. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.
Low-E / Low-E4® Tempered Glass
Low-E Glass reflects heat in the summer and helps to retain interior heat in the winter.
Ideal for: All Climates
Low-E4® with HeatLock Coating is available on E-Series products. This improves the U-Factor performance of the window but slightly reduces how much light comes through the glass.
Sun Tempered Glass
Sun glass has excellent thermal performance. This glass has a subtle tint that blocks out more heat from the sun.
Ideal for: Southern Climates
PassiveSun® Tempered Glass
If you live in a cold climate, PassiveSun® glass allows the sun to heat your home.
Ideal for: Northern Climates
Triple-Pane Tempered Glass
Triple-Pane Glass (with Low-E coatings on two surfaces) helps keep more heat in and cold air out, making this Andersen's most energy-efficient glass option. Perfect for colder climates where more months of the year are spent heating the home.

Concealed Insect Screens
Concealed, retractable insect screen has charcoal fiberglass panels. Available for inswing single or double door units. Insect screen rolls out when needed and retracts into concealed housing when not in use. Available in 50 exterior colors.
Concealed insect screens for outswing doors are field applied to the interior of the door. Available in five colors including white, almond, desert sand, bronze and black.
Swinging Insect Screens (Inswing only)
Charcoal fiberglass screen mesh fits into an aluminum frame in 50 exterior colors. Provided with a black lockable latch and automatic closer for smooth operation. Available in single or multiple door units. Aluminum screen mesh is also available.
Top-Hung Gliding Insect Screens
Charcoal fiberglass screen mesh fits into an aluminum frame available in 50 exterior colors. Aluminum screen mesh is also available as an option.
